Seroe's love of the piano began when she sat at the keys for the first time at the age of 5. She continued on to major in music and piano in college and graduated with high honors from Westfield State University in 1984. She began studying piano tuning and technology in 1986 and graduated with highest honors from the renowned Potter School of Piano Technology which is certified by the Oregon Department of Education. Seroe is a member of Master Piano Technicians of America. Seroe is also certified by Dampp-Chaser an expert installer of the Piano Life Saver.
In 2006, Seroe attended a 70 hour hands on advanced training seminar held at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Michaud increased her current skills in the specialty of concert tuning, and regulation techniques under the direction of Randi Potter, Director of the Potter School of Piano Technology, Dave Swartz, piano technician at Northwestern College School of Music, and Ward Guthrie, piano technician at Montana State University.
As a Piano Technicians Guild member, Seroe stays up to date on the latest techniques and innovations in the piano industry by reading the monthly journals and participating in multiple international forums and attending conferences including a seminar in CT in March 2025.

Michaud's Piano is woman owned and operated. Seroe offers a unique perspective as a technician because she is a professional pianist. She brings her musicality and musicianship into her work as a piano technician and works to make each piano sound its very best. Michaud offers accurate piano tunings, working aurally in tandem with the use of a state-of-the-art tuning scope that will provide the most even progressive tuning throughout the keyboard possible, accommodating for scaling and harmonic inconsistencies.
